It was very kind of Victoria to do so many demonstrations for us! I hope somebody remembered to pull her out at the last second!
You're doing very well with these! It's nice to have another 3D artist around. We seem to almost be a dying breed, with so many folks completely captivated with AI. lol

Well... All that I can say is that with more people mentioning preferred sinking depths and poses, that's not the last we've seen of Victoria. I wasn't really planning on making her a recurring character, but I guess she'll be back soon.

Fiddling with generative AI was great, and was a gateway towards me becoming willing to stop being a lurker, resume writing, and become a more active member in various online quicksand communities. But I've also mentioned my frustrations with AI, and how so much of it boils down to trial and error. With Daz, I can't create as many images, but in some way, because I have more direct control over what I want to see, and dedicate so much more time and effort on each piece, it feels a lot more fulfilling to see the final work.

I'm a bit late to the party, but I'd like to say that you have some excellent images and story vignettes here. I'm enjoying them a lot and echo what Akio said, in that it good to see another 3D artist here on the forum. I experimented with Daz but didn't persist with it, so I know how much of a pain it can be to get it to do what you want. I'm very much looking forward to your future efforts.

Thank you! I'm also really enjoying your experiments with Stable Diffusion. As you know, I had a lot of fun playing with generative AI, and it was what motivated me to start actively posting after lurking for so many years, and to resume writing stories, but I think I still prefer the ability to have more direct control over the finished product, which Daz offers.

Poor Victoria. I've been meaning to move on from her and work on other characters, but people keep requesting to see different sinking depths and poses. Well somebody on DeviantArt wanted to see her chin-deep. Maybe Quicksand Day works like Groundhog Day for her...

Hope we get another, preferably one with just the face pointing up and about to go under

It's honestly one of my favourite depths as well; there's something about the imminent conclusion of her sinking, the urgency of her predicament as time runs out, and she is mere moments from being completely swallowed up by the quicksand.

I'm in the midst of writing a story for Victoria, and I'm planning to feature her in more renders, so stay tuned. I'm also redoing some of my earlier images of Victoria after noticing some minor mistakes, so you might notice some subtle differences between this latest batch of images and the earlier ones. I might continue to revisit these from time to time as I become more familiar with Daz.

Thank you! Yes, I love the way the hair looks in these renders. Had to do a bit of trickery to get the hair floating on the surface as she sinks deeper and deeper, but I'm happy with the way it turned out.

And indeed, that was the effect I was trying to get. When she looks at the camera, it's almost as if she's begging you to pull her out as she goes under. Really brings the alarm and dismay across. I had a lot of MPV's Pleading and Sinking About You scenes playing in my head while I was working on this batch.

Trying something a little different, while I continue to work with Victoria (like I said, we'll be seeing more of her), and also attempt to write a couple of stories.

I'm not much of a gamer, and have never played any of the Final Fantasy games, but I know that Tifa Lockhart is a very popular character. Which also means that I've seen her in so many different peril and other NSFW scenarios. Quite a few artists have made her sink in quicksand (for example, this one by A-020, this one by Dual Wielder, and this video by TAPbagan), so here's my own attempt.

Inspired by Silkyfriction's recent work, I attempted to recreate his illustration in Daz Studio.

It was quite challenging in some aspects, but I think I managed to pull it off.

Some of you might be aware that Silkyfriction did a couple of follow-up illustrations where Tifa sinks deeper. I might try to recreate those as well.

I finished this render a few weeks ago, but wanted to write a story to accompany it. I'm still nowhere close to completing it, but I've decided to post the image first, along with a little vignette.

Hailey knew that she needed to find her way back to base camp. Even if the rest of the team noticed her absence and sent out a search party, they had no way of telling where she was. She knew that with every passing moment, with every inch of her that was consumed, her chances of escaping the mire were slipping away. But sinking in the mud felt so good, and she was so close to having an orgasm... And so she kept rubbing herself while wriggling and writhing in place, hastening her descent.

"I need to get out," she gasped, as another wave of pleasure washed over her. "But… I can’t stop… now…" The mud gurgled and churned as beneath the surface, she thrust her hips against the thick slurry. "So close…"
