But sure, let's put some more nameless, contextless T and A in the mud with no stakes, very exciting

I understand what you're saying. It's just that to me this is the stuff of total fantasy and I want more than just being something only a small part of the story. I want it to be all the story and all the fantasy that my mindless erotic dreams can conjure. My vision is not just having a piece of candy but the entire Wonka factory. Most of what I reach for isn't just casual eroticism that might be part of the movie, I'm making porn in my head. The entire "story" if that word even describes it, is about that impossible contextless T and A. I was raised on what you are looking for. Why settle?

As a producer there's even some metrics to support this - Many best selling scenes are the most over the top.
It's a dirty job but I got to do it for 27 years. Thank you.

I kind of get what you mean, everyone has preferences, but ya I do think that a quicksand scene is a lot more enjoyable when it has an epic and dramatic story behind it. I guess a quicksand scene will always have a cool story if it is from a movie or a show.

Anyways it is what it is.

Funny this little neighbours scene should pop up on here since this community in fact influenced its existence

Thank you for the link. All I have ever seen before of this was the scene itself. Never knew it was from a mini-series.

Ritza Brown caught my attention in this. She also had a small part in Ator: The Fighting Eagle (a wretchedly horrible movie), including a nice sequence near the beginning.
The Wizard of Ooze stays behind the curtain!

QSF influences TV producers? BBC, if you're reading this, adapt The Shivering Sands by Victoria Holt!!

I wont go into too much detail but I'm a writer and know a couple of the writers of neighbours and this scene was discussed a while back. I gave my input on what I'd do and they ended up doing very similar. It's unlikely to be a co-incidence but I was unaware they'd actually shot it since I gave up watching the show about 20 years ago.
