Oh hey, i perfectly know that pose. The mud in this mudflat has turned out to be much more sticky than expected and her tight boots do not move an inch anymore. Sitting down (spreading weight) is the right thing to do indeed before starting to yank and pull.

Square Dancing? it's fun, especially with the 1st & 3rd as dance partners with a long way to sink!

with the Samba group--- the duo looks very chilly & i'm concerned about the redhead's arm, don't like wounded damsels

but the 1st lass--- you can get diverted wondering "what is the chain attached to?"
or just sit back & enjoy while it unspools...

Yep, getting the weight off you legs makes getting the legs out easier. She should be OK, may not mind a bit of company though.

Never tried square dancing, probably not a good idea now, want to hand on to these hips a bit longer.

I think the redhead's arm is OK looks like temporary hair colour's run. I knew a girl that had that happen, She wasn't expecting the rain, her's was green, it looked pretty bad and made a mess of her white top!
