Heh, looks the game's full title is actually "Enshrouded - Melody of the Mire" (or maybe "Melody of the Mire is the name of an expansion or quest) and has a location called "blackmire" and "blackmire spire". I though I'd try searching on youtube for any sinking scenes but no luck, especially with "mire" being such a common name in the game.

Nice. That's some surprisingly good-looking and good-sounding quicksand. Of course with the person playing the game properly they barely sink at all, heh. But the texture and sound effects are above-average.
Also, perhaps a bit off-topic, but I gotta say I really like the graphics of that game. I've never been fond of ultra blocky minecraft type stuff, but that game manages to have simple graphics that are a bit pixelated and retro but still detailed enough that things that can be artistically nice.
