I voted with the majority for the original Russian scene, which I had seen many times before. I had not seen any of the others. The acting in the Indian scene was quite good, but there really was only water there, and the actress had to fake the presence of quicksand on the bottom. The original venue was the only one IMO that was actually a “quicksand” scene. Just my opinion.

СССР. Не следует его путать с Россией. Да, Россия была главной республикой. Но одной из многих. Так, что лучше называть - советский фильм.
Это примерно тоже самое,что жителя Канады назвать американец. С одной стороны правильно - континент то Америка. Но с другой стороны,под Америкой , обычно Штаты имеют ввиду,у нас по крайней мере.
Кстати - Российский,2015 тоже снимали в настоящем болоте,и даже в тех же краях.
Кстати вот про то как снимали. Разумеется на русском. Но в Яндекс, браузере есть,по крайней мере у меня, функция синхронного перевода. И вроде бы более менее разумно переводит.

Interesting docu-films, even though I can’t understand the language. The camera work and cinematography in the 2015 Russian version were superior to the original, and the scene was OK, though not as long or dramatic or realistic as the original. Again, just my opinion. Thanks for posting these.

Try Yandex Browser. It has a video translation feature. I've used it several times. And very passable. It's not perfect, but you'll definitely get the gist of it. However, I do not know if it works from Russian to English. On the contrary, yes. However, I have an advantage here- knowledge of English. It's not that good, though. Although the problem here is that the dictionary is small. I know well....at least a thousand words, although I'll remember a lot less right away. Maybe more. Not about that right now, though. Really try Yandex.

Вижу ,что никто за фильм 2005 не проголосовали(на момент написания)Ну,скажу что вполне заслуженно. Слишком уж болото на озеро походит. Но кое -что есть в нем достойное.
Это как выглядит, вернее одета девушка (тут я испытываю двойственные чувства, но не будем об этом.) Рубашку и кальсоны (хотя не знаю,что тогда носили девушки. Вряд-ли трусики...) что очень сексуально.
