Being as I cannot draw this is lazy option. Though it took plenty of trial and error. I set out just to see what the AI can do in creating some resembling cutaway drawings, this was more of an experiment. I thought of commissioning someone to create some drawings but that would still be a lazy way on my part as I would not be actively doing the work. Easier would be if you could show the AI a drawing and ask it to make something similar to the drawing quality. Telling the AI through prompts is tedious until the AI starts to figure it out, I did not think the AI would even get this far.

And that is absolutely the point of this thread: to give people direction for experimenting with AI and learning what it can do and how to do it. My mindset when starting the thread was to encourage people to move beyond lazy prompting and try to figure out how to make specific elements work. It didn't occur to me to even use AI to make a cutaway, so that was interesting. I incorporated the concept (albeit to an environmental piece) to my latest video.

I may not be making any more for awhile. I may have been scammed. Either that or else it's just the worst customer support on the net.

I have been using SEAART.AI for 3 days now with no issues. But suddenly today I made another $20 paypal purchase for something like 15,000 credits to create several dozen more videos and for some reason the credits do not appear in my account as they always did. Stuck at 43 credits which might make one still image. A 5-second video is 200 to 600 credits. I assumed the PP payment did not go through and tried again. No go. Out $40 so far. Paypal and my bank account both show the payment went through.

I tried closing/opening my browser, deleting cookies and everything else I could imagine and then logged back in but no credits. Tried rebooting the PC, returning to the site and making a 99-cent purchase as a test and nothing. Can't make vids without credits.


The credit purchase page says to contact online customer service if I need help. So as instructed I click on the headphones icon in the lower right corner for online service. Nothing. An inspection finds that it is just an icon image and not an active link. Eventually I did find chat help but it's AI. It's even named "ROBOT". I describe my problem and get replies "like try closing and opening the app" and to contact the non-existing online customer service. Finally I ask for a live agent and it responds that it will connect me with one, but it never does.

So I logged out and then wiped all the cookies I could find related to the site, rebooted and then went back and it automatically logged me into my account again after a few seconds somehow. Crazy.

It is impossible to contact anyone live for Seaart.ai issues. It is possible to close my account permanently and lose all my data but impossible to cancel my ($81) 1-year subscription. I found an email contact page for Seaart.ai but I have a feeling It will never be replied to.


So this is where I am. I had some real fun for a few days but looks like the ai carnival ride at Seaart is over and closed for good.

UODATE: I think I got it sorted. Looks like just weak customer service after all. I check the help chat again and found that someone had eventually replied and said they'd look into it. I finally got my credits just now so the show is on again. my subscription is until June 2026 so very glad this ended OK.

That's good, only thing worse than thinking you've been scammed is to be scammed! Great news that it's all sorted.

It doesn't seem that others are keen to contribute to this thread and I'm not inclined to try to keep in going on my own. I have enough work keeping my other two threads and DA page going, so I'm going to step back into the shadows. If someone else wants to see the thread continue, please pick it up and run with it. If that happens I will contribute.
