Nothing sat right with me after that. 92 was also an incredible and interesting year for music, too. Dream Theater, Faith No More, Black Sabbath, Iron Maiden, Alice in Chains, Helmet, and Megadeth all released albums that year so it was a pretty stacked year for GnR to contend with
I agree on the music of '92 - Sabbath's Dehumanizer we've already discussed, Pantera, Alice were big on my radar as well - Maiden? Fear of the Dark was spotty, but a vast improvement on No Prayer for the Dying...Megdeath's Countdown was a *remarkable* album - very sophisticated and ultra-tight, playing-wise, it definitely set a bar in terms of precision....
Overall, I ignored the Grunge thing...Nirvana/Soundgarden/Pearl Jam, etc. were EVERYWHERE, but it really didn't affect me that much, but I had soft spot for Temple of the Dog's Hunger Strike...a lot of big albums from '91 were still prowling around - Metallica/Ozzy/Skid Row....jeez, how time flies...
