This is a really impressive take on a seminal big-screen quicksand scene. I especially like how your quicksand holds its form (behaving almost like peanut butter) as she plows her arms into it, confirming that she's struggling in a semi-solid, semi-fluid substance that both firmly entraps her yet offers no purchase for her to escape on her own.
