A Sticky Miscalculation

Having a mud bath in one’s domicile was once thought to be a sign of high social status in ancient Greece. But with Mella’s inordinate wealth and social status, she was looking for something more, exotic.

I've been thinking that Black Friday might be a fitting time to introduce my first sinking in tar series. I actually started on this project over a year ago, and was about ready to post it this time last year when my internet went out for a month. As such, it lacks a few tricks I’ve since learned—the dialog bubbles for example—but since the setting has changed so much in the game, I wasn’t able to go back and redo the pictures. Nevertheless, I think they still turned out great. Hope y’all enjoy, and thanks for checking them out!

Two friends on vacation in search of a little rest and relaxation in the sun find the secluded beach they settled on to be anything but relaxing.

Hope 2026 has been good to y'all so far! I'd been working on another project at the end of last year which wasn't coming to completion as fast as I'd thought it would, so last month I decided to take a break from it and switch to this seemingly simple idea I'd been sitting on for a while. And then as I started working on it, it started to evolve and balloon with new ideas from what was originally two or three pictures, to well... more than that lol. So it also ended up taking longer than I thought it would.

But anyways, here's my first offering for 2026, hope you enjoy, leave a little constructive feedback, and thanks for taking a look at it!
