Nice!
I love that moment, when the damsel has essentially gone under the surface, but the quicksand is so thick, it hasn't closed in over them yet.

Re: PurpleFrogbot's Quicksand Collection
I have some catching up to do here. I haven't been posting on QSF much because I assume anyone who sees my art here is already seeing it on other platforms. However, maybe I should still update my thread once in a while. Is it worth it? Or is it redundant at this point? Anyways, art wave incoming!

Re: PurpleFrogbot's Quicksand Collection
When Daisy Romano volunteered to help the Bogsweeper team place warning signs in the Central Peat Bogs, trudging through a seemingly endless expanse of soft, mucky terrain separated from her crew—and without a shirt, thanks to the sticky heat—was not what she had imagined. Nevertheless, she was down to her last sign. Eager to finish the task and find her way back to the rest of her team, the young woman waded across an open patch of bog…only to plunge instantly down to her ribs in the thick, yielding mire.
“Ugh—quicksand!”
Daisy knew better than to struggle, but panic overrode common sense, and she heaved against the bog, twisting and groaning as she began to sink. The irony of the sign to which she clung was not lost on her. Danger—Quicksand.
As her breasts began to settle into the squelching peat, Daisy aimed a shout into the mist. “D-Danica—ungh—help me! I’m sinking!”
For a moment, she thought she heard a faint reply, but the wet, sucking sounds of the bog and her own labored breaths drowned it out. And the bog was sucking her down fast…

Thwud! Michelle’s spear missed its mark by inches and quivered in the damp jungle turf. Her prey bolted into the undergrowth, and though Michelle knew better than to give reckless chase through the dense and treacherous foliage, she refused to let her quarry get away. She sprang from cover, leaped over a boulder, and—spluttt! The ground swallowed her down to her hips in an instant…black, warm, and thick.
“Tar…” The word dripped from her lips in a panicked whisper. “N-no!”
Bubbles pushed their way to the surface, spattering her sweat-slick skin with dark flecks. Michelle heaved her weight, but the muck held her fast—and she began to sink. Grunting and straining, Michelle fought back, bucking and twisting and pushing against the surface, but the more she struggled, the more entrapped she became in the relentless grip of the tar. As the deadly pit heaved and belched and licked her toned midsection, Michelle’s mounting groans and heavy breaths filled the jungle clearing.
“Oh, gods,” she moaned. “I’m sinking! The tar…s-swallowing me…”
And inch by inch, the groping mire tugged her in farther…

No wonder the sand felt extra wet.

The soft, wet sand squelches and slurps every inch of her sunken body. Her chest rises and falls with quick, shallow breaths. Her heart hammers. Her face flushes. Gasps turn into groans. And she just...keeps...sinking.
