I've been studying ComfyUI a bit. I take it you have a big box to run it on? Can I ask what video card you are using?

Nice work there. Thanks for sharing.
It's a dirty job but I got to do it for 27 years. Thank you.

Yeah I have a strong machine: Ryzen 9 9950X3D, 96GB RAM, RTX 4090. However it all depends what you want to do with it, there are certain models which will fit into way smaller computer and allow for a lot of fun too! :)

I've got something similar that's been lying dormant for quite a while. Might be time to put it to work. You ever do video with it?

Indeed I have, but just a little. It is pretty slow, but still pretty useable, and completely free and you can generate whatever you wish, which is great. So yes, it is totally possible to do videos locally with it :) I got to say that I prefer to make a single image with a lot of details which tells what is happening, however I think I can (and should ;) ) play around with video generation as well when I get another free long afternoon and see what happens (and report the speed of course).

That's about what I expected. Thanks for sharing this. We don't get into a lot of technical details here.

Hehe, no problem, thanks for asking. In any case I'm always happy to share the workflows, prompts, etc. which were used if anyone wishes to see them of course.
