favorite rescue scene...

Here's a fun question for everyone.
What is your favorite rescue scene from quicksand in a tv show/movie?
One that comes to mind is the gal from Fantasy Island. True you don't actually see her get pulled out but you do know she's safe in the end.
The Dukes of Hazzard in Coy Meets Girl. The gal is covered just right in mud when she gets rescued.

I think, in my mind, the two classic best film scenes are: (1) Tarzan's Hidden Jungle - the standard classic with Gordon Scott as Tarzan dropping a vine to Vera Miles, one of the most attractive actresses ever, let alone to do a QS scene.

Number (2) in my book is Valley of Mystery: the late Peter Graves pulling Lois Nettleton out of a jungle muck-pool with a (Hollywood tailored and boy scout knotted) vine. Great resuce scene.

Maybe #3 is the All My Children scene - nice actress in white dress, good pull-out with rope around under her arms, a slimy hug after the rescue.

in Hercules, when he rescues the cute damsel and her superfluous brother... i guess the plot needed the kid too, but i just ignore him and focus on the damsel
