Hey there!
Having found a small treasure trove of quicksand scenes for various comics recently, and rather than starting different threads all over the map like I have been doing, I decided to start a thread as a place to put them and any others I may find at a later date. Feel free to add to the pile...
First up, from a comic adaption of The Land That Time Forgot... that cool quicksand scene... with the added bonus of a pic from the actual scene from the movie.

Oh, yes, a cool comic and a cool scene in the movie! Oh course, the whole movie itself was pretty entertaining, but the quicksand scene was a nice touch. Thanks for sharing!

Thanks, all!
Here's some more...
This has appeared on DS before... but I happened to find better scans of it from a different source. Besides, this never appeared HERE before...

...or about to be pulled under by those tentacle things, which is pretty cool too. Thanks for the posts.

Re: Comic book sinking scenes!
Here's a few more...
First up, from the Marvel comics adaption of The Moonstone, which features quicksand in a fairly big way. Those expecting a sinking scene per se will be disappointed... (if anyone remembers that great clip from British TV showing the character Rosanna slipping under...)... the sinking is implied both in this comic and the novel... but the way it is done makes it worth passing on, I think...
There's a lot of chatter in this, so I edited the pages to emphasize the quicksand as best I can. I like this, truth be told, as a different take on the usual.

Here's a straight up sinking/rescue, courtesy from a back up feature inside the old 1969 magazine Castle of Frankenstein.

This one is great. Too bad, the girl ignored the obvious possibility to improve the genetic fund of the nationPM2K wrote:Here's a straight up sinking/rescue, courtesy from a back up feature inside the old 1969 magazine Castle of Frankenstein.
There’s so many different worlds
So many different suns
And we have just one world
But we live in different ones
