Question For The Producers--Guy/Girl Scenes

Postby Mynock » Fri Dec 17, 2010 6:34 pm

Figured I'd post this in General Discussion because it applies to all of you.
A while ago there was a thread discussing male/female scenes and such.....have any of you decided to/not decided to/made progress on doing this?
If I remember correctly there were alot of positive responses (including my own) and PM2K's recent addition of "Bog: A Love Story" to the story forum got me wondering.

There has been a male/female scene produced a few years ago... yes both a male and female together ... in the quicksand... sinking together. There have also been male/female rescue scenes produced.

Since those scenes were produced, the way QS scenes are sold have morphed to mostly down loadable scenes. This will make them easier to produce because some folks would not buy a DVD with such a scene on it. Now with having it available singly those who want to see this type of scene can do so with out risking the money it takes to buy a whole DVD with rare male/female scene.

Also remember that it is up to the producer how they want to spend their resources and what they want to see produced.

You can expect to see a few more male/female scenes from PRP in the future but until it is proven that this kind of scene will make money I don't expect it to be on the top of the list of any producer.

Under the rules as I understand them, I will attempt to answer this in the Studio 588 forum.
Studio 588 currently offers more than 2200 different HD and QD quicksand videos and has supported production of well over 2400 video scenes and other projects by 20 different producers. Info may be found at:

Since the question was directed to "all" producers I don't see the need to answer this thread in the specific producer area and could have been responded to here. But since I am not the administrator, and he would feel it should be...feel free to move my response to the PRP area and I will stand corrected without prejudice.

There are a lot of different things that work against guy/girl scenes in what we do.

Past experience with male/female mud scenes has not been profitable or even artistically successful. I'm speaking of Messyfun and MPV here.

Personally I generally don't like guys in my fantasies.

While we've had performers who have done adult work for big time adult producers it changes things when you add a guy to the mix. At the level we are working at you can't use any two performers, you have to find a couple. Couples are expensive and this makes doing a guy/girl scene more difficult.

I would never say never. If the right couple showed up at the right time then anything could happen but I think it will likely be an area that only certain producers will be able to specialize in. 8-)
It's a dirty job but I got to do it for 27 years. Thank you.

Since it seems this topic has been deemed ok for the general forum, I will reply here.

A great deal depends on what is meant by a guy/girl scene. We have always done a few scenes each year in which both male and female characters appear. We have also done scenes in which both male and female characters sink, though not at the same time. In most, but not all, cases of these scenes, the male character is already dead at the time of sinking. Most of our "Muddy Justice" series (some scenes titled "Justice Can be Muddy" or "Justice Can be Quick") fits this description although at least one of those has no male character and one has a male character who returns to life. The "Jane Bond" scene also fits this description, with the male character taking a knife in the chest just prior to falling in.

If the question was meant to refer to a male and a female in the mud at the same time, then the answer is we will do that if and when we have a scene that calls for it and if and when both actress and actor are comfortable with it. We have done some scenes in which there is an apparently male but unseen character (the viewer, presumably) in the mud with the female.

If the question was meant to refer to a male and female character in the mud together and making out, then the answer is that such a scene is unlikely to be produced by Studio 588 in the foreseeabale future.

If the question was meant to refer to a male and female character having sex in the mud then the answer is no, we have no intention of ever doing that or allowing it to be produced by others at the Studio.

Well, we did a couple guy/girl (mud) scenes in our first season, but have not done any since then. It really wasn't my cup of tea.

Having said that though, I wouldn't rule out doing more in the future. I've been toying around with the idea of a "Sex While Sinking" series, that may or may not include male characters.

I'm also looking forward to pushing my mud eroticism efforts into more intense categories. I'd like to get more specific, but as a rule, I never discuss stuff before it has actually been achieved. But in general, this may involve male performers at some point.

The original question does lack specificity. So if there was something particular you had in mind, please express that.

I'm in the prenatal planning stages of my video career. Right now it's more than I can realistically try to do. But, ya know...later on...ya never know! I like guy/girl mud scenes and I have even spent money on two of them.

I have always thought it a shame that more material of this type is not produced. It's got its fans and I know I'm not the only one. Producers need to break even at least, though. I'm not sure that day's here yet but if the fans continue to pipe up, someday it will be!

Another reason why you don't see much actual sex in mud is because to do it for real, you need really good quality non-bacteria-fostering mud. Clay is recommended by the experts (such as they are, few and far between). It's not easy to find at all, period, let alone find a place which is suitable and legal for a shoot.

My peat bogs have never caused me a problem but yes, they stay on my outsides and no, they would never be suitable for this. They're made of little organic nondecomposing fibers. If I put a glob under a microscope, I am sure it'd be moving. Since this stuff would get inside the woman during an actual sex act, Poison Sumac Bog has to be crossed off the list.

Kaolumbia has an implied-sex scene with, yes, a man and a woman (Kristine plays the woman), on "Carlysle Bog". Long as the guck stays outside of the body, you can make out, grope, play, kiss, fondle and imply sex 'til the bogs come home.
