Which TV character would you most like to see in quicksand

Postby steve70 » Sun Jan 02, 2011 3:34 pm

As with my previous post, I apologise if this has been covered before (in which case please point me in the right direction), or if it's considered not the kind of topic discussed on this site (in which case I can imagine where you'll tell me to go!).

My question is, if you could see one character from a TV series,or film, get stuck in quicksand, who would you like it to be (assuming the scene was half-decent, unlike many on mainstream media)? And how far would you like to see it go - do you just want to see them sink, or use it as a way of writing them out of the show/film?

I would like to get the ball rolling, but my list is too long... It would probably take up several pages in its own right!

I always thought that it would have been neat to have the main character in the TV version of Sheena have her own quicksand scene - even though she did pull out several models in the one episode. After that, the list can be endless: Ginger/Maryanne, Jeannie (Barbara Eden, who did do a comic scene later on Harper Valley PTA); Lt. Uhura on Star Trek would have been nice. There should have definitely been a scene in the cable series The Lost World - a waste of a jungle environment. Janie (Melody Patterson) on the old F Troop would also have been OK, if they kept it serious enough.

Just a few thoughts.

I think it would have to be Rose McGowan as Paige Matthews in " Charmed" or Helen Flanagan as Rosie Webster in "Coronation Street" Better still, both at the same time! :D :D

Not so easy to say anything, taking into account that I don't watch any TV series...

I would be happy to see some young and sexy girl(s) in quicksand. Either in traditional DiD scenario or parody.

There were a few quite popular Russian TV series with some really appealing actresses. Unfortunately, everything in those series happened indoors only. No room for quicksand.

Abby on NCIS. What would be fun is somehow the subject of quciksand comes up and Abby explains it from a scientific point of view and how to overcome it. However as fate would have it she somehow winds up in it and everything she explained goes right out the window sinking to her shoulders before being rescued.
I also always thought Jessica Alba would do a nice quicksand scene as well.

I agree that a quicksand scene with Jessica Alba would be nice. So would a scene with another Jessica, as in Simpson. They'd both have to be in swimsuits, miniskirts, or shorts, as I would love to see both of them trying to pull their legs free.

The TV character I would really like to see in quicksand, however, is Callie from "CSI Miami." Personally, I think she's a brat. I have in mind a scenario where she's checking out a crime scene in the Everglades and tumbles into quicksand. She tries to get out herself, but soon realizes she can't. She cries out, which brings her partners, Eric Delco and Horatio Caine, to the scene.

Eric: "H, it looks like Callie fell into the quicksand. Should we pull her out?"

Horatio: I believe we should, Eric. However, there is one question. Was this an accident, or was it (he snaps on his shades) deliberate?"

Actually, what I'd really like to do with any of the CSI series is play an episode like an episode of "Police Squad!" That's for another time, however.

Hands down Ashley Greene (Alice from Twilight). Not surprisingly she's not too well known since she hasn't had any big roles (that I know of) until recently in the Twilight saga, and that role isn't all that big either seeing as how of the 3 that have come out so far she is barely in a quarter of the movie third movie and that's the most screen play she got so far. Moving on, Ashley Greene in a bikini sinking and struggling in some deep quicksand or clay would be heaven. Gotta make sure she stays afloat though, that way I could sink her again, and again, and again... ;)
