Definitely slow struggle and slow immersion, starting from knee-deep. I guess my total fantasy scene is a submersion, with a rescue happening with the girl's arms sticking straight up after her head goes under. There aren't many of those around. "Death Curse of Tartu" comes to mind, but with an absolutely awful bog - cork floating on water. Maybe some day, someone will film such a rescue in a better bog.

I definitely like a slow sink with lots of struggling before inching deeper. Also love a partial escape once deep only to be pulled in further after.
