Boy, that got my attention, though. I sure wonder what kind of job that could possibly be.

I can't help but think that ethics can't be that complex. All I do is imagine whether a thing makes the world better or if it makes the world SUCK. And if it makes the world SUCK, it's unethical.

Everything else is ethical, or at least not unethical.

Ethics is more than just what's right and wrong. As a branch of philosophy it is the process of debate, or the study, of what is right and wrong. Sometimes the answer to the question of what is right and wrong is not so simple. "Am I my brother's keeper?" is an old question regardless of one's religious perspective.

Forget everything you've ever been taught- if you were free to do as you pleased, with no consequences to you personally, what things would you NOT do? And what happens when the law and your personal code come into conflict?

I it good to put an unborn child with some sort of developmental problem out of it's "misery" before it is even born? Would that child even know it was unhappy? At what point do you deprive something of love because it isn't as capable as the norm and requires constant care? Is it a greater love to do that? Who should make that decision?

Am I obligated to help someone who won't help himself? Does that change if they are lazy or just ignorant?

Is all violence bad? What says that I have to be monogamous?

The one I wrestled with most - Is a charity right to refuse the donation of a bunch of strippers who held a topless car wash?

I was trying to pose a challenging ethical question but I am also literally an expert at heaping manure.
