Safari Girl "Runaway"
It's been a while since I've put Miss Rebecca into quicksand.

How unfortunate you didn't have a proper guide to navigate these swamps.

Rebecca Longale and quicksand prove again and again that girls should never stop the timeless tradition of going on safaris.

Beautiful artwork as always, AT! Nice depth and the thickness you've given the quicksand is most outstanding!
It seems to me that Rebecca has a look to her face I haven't seen before in your work. Not sure how to explain it. Previous expressions certainly had the look of fear... for this drawing, there's more of a glimmer of urgent concern with a look of intelligence... kind of like she's trying to control her fear while thinking of a way out. It could be a look of surprise having just plunged into the quicksand to her hips, but then her hair would be flying up from the downward momentum.
Anyway, I find there's something different, and in a nice way, about this drawing. Thanks for sharing!

Agreeing with benmetal and waterbug on the mud's thickness. It's a great new dimension, really showing us that she's in a real bind this time.
The depth is good too. It's right where she'd really start to panic. And it really shows the thickness of the bog this go-round.
The hands tied behind her back are a nice touch too.
It's all tied together (ha ha) with the "Oh shit!" look starting to grow on her face.
Another work well done by a true master. Thanks as always!

It wasn't this particular drawing but your wonderful work has provided no small amount of inspiration over the years. Something about long red hair and jungle attire seems to work very well for both of us.

It's a dirty job but I got to do it for 27 years. Thank you.
