Hi all,
Years ago (late '70's), I recall seeing a part of a black & white movie in which a man is running after a cat. The cat runs through a bog and cuts left, right, etc. The man follows the cat and takes a wrong step and sinks into the bog as the cat watches.
Has anyone seen that movie and know the name? Does anyone happen to have that clip or a link to it?
Thanks very much!

Re: Looking for a scene from an old movie
I think its called "Eye Of The Cat"; an old woman's cat avenges her death at the hands of her grasping relatives by killing them all in gruesome ways, starting with her son in the aforementioned quicksand. I remember the adverts used the tagline "Don't watch if you suffer from Aileurophobia!"(fear of cats).
"Aaaaaarrrrrrggggghhhhh! Quicksand! I'm sinking! I'll go straight to the bottom of.......GLURP!"
(a month later)
"Ugh! Yukkkh! Ptui! I'm out of it! I'm free! Not even quicksand can defeat the power of.....the Eye of Zoltec!"

HI all,
Trying to get my hands on this video again. I had a massive technology failure last year and lost nearly everything. If anyone has this clip or a link to it, I would be very grateful.
Thank you.

The film is actually titled The Shadow of the Cat from 1961. Another Hammer Films production.

Thanks for the recent responses.... yes, YouTube took the video down and I lost most of the old material I'd saved over the years. I appreciate your help. At least I have the title of the movie now.

The difference between theory and reality is that, in theory, there is no difference between theory and reality.

The quicksand scene starts around 40:00
Always loved the implication the cat made him fall in...
