There are many good pages for the day, but I like Lex's
Pearl Harbour Day

A day that will live in imfamy indeed.
i was sad to hear the survivors association would be disbanding this year due to the increase in the age and decrease in the number of it's membership. We're getting very close to witnessing the true end of an era. Not sure if that's good or bad....

Whether it's good or bad may depend on whether future generations remember what happened that day at Pearl Harbor.

Never forget!

Time goes on - the Civil War parades eventually died out because the veterans all passed away. But America is still molded by that conflict. WWII is the same - people need to remember that there really was a good side and a bad side, particularly in Euroope (Stalin notwithstanding). The US has basically, though flawed, stood for good ever since then. The opposing forces are now again getting stronger - we will see where the Middle East and China take us. Having a fuel besides Middle East oil would be a boon to this country beyond belief. My Dad was in the Navy, Pacific, in WWII. He has not forgotten.
