Here is the link to its listing in the IMdB. It DOES appear to be available from throughAmazon.

Oops. Sorry, my vision has deteriorated to the point I often miss such mistakes.

Thanks PM2K
The problem with the movie "The Acid Eaters" is that much of the soundtrack is horribly out of sync. It was apparently released that way, way back in 1968, based on what I've read about it.
The movie is available on DVD from "Something Weird Video": http://www,somethingweird.com

I actually own a VHS copy and yes, it was released that way. We're talking really low budget here. Cool movie though in a silly 60's movie way.
It's a dirty job but I got to do it for 27 years. Thank you.

I'm kinda thinking Bear Grylls likes this kinda of party? He comes up in several different youtube clips where he's sinking in something

Re: Quicksand odds and ends
Believe it or not, I located a clip of the QS scene in this oddball movie. Said scene is no less bizarre.
Listen to the bad sound effects as the girls are fighting. You can just picture the soundtrack guys tossing cardboard boxes around in the studio while recording, AS IF that's the kind of sounds we would hear during such a struggle in an open field.....I mean REALLY bad sound effects (heh-heh).
Enjoy, laugh, or do both like me. Scroll down the page to the first video in the "KEY SCENES" section:
