This is a good scene; a gloomy, crepuscular forest with lots of mist and nice slurpy mud! Too bad the soundtrack is terrible. The JAG girls add alot of drama to it as well...
As for the quicksand, it was more like the real thing. Real quicksand can be very watery and take you right up to your shoulders in half a second.

This was a good TV scene. Perhaps a bit too dark, and too much immediate submergence in both actress' cases. Nonetheless, an effective scene. "Semper Fi ... do or die ..."

Bart - I don't know. I would like to have seen this episode replayed with Catherine Bell in the female JAG slot, to compare to this good scene. Somehow the thought of her body plunging into ... well, it would have been nice. Good scene as-is nonetheless!
