Charlie and Friends - Update for Nessie

The attached was captured over the weekend of Charlie with his canine family: long hair dapple dachsie Shayna on the right (who visits from Riverdale NY) and center his semi-sister schnoodle, Penny.

Soooo cuddly...

It's lovely to see Charlie again and Penny is very much like him!

And...ooooh! A dachschund! Yeahhh! Shades of my little wienie, rest her furry soul!

I want to pet them all.

By the way, I've taken up a new sideline. I really should not get another dog, but my neighbor bought a dachschund puppy. I've been running that puppy around the neighborhood regularly. My neighbor isn't somebody who's going to run...and the dog won't stop running...I really don't think she quite knew how much energy a young dog can have.

She was willing to provide a good reference...and now I have an upcoming temp job (which pays pretty well) dog-sitting for a couple who is going on vacation.

Hey, if this works out, I just might stay with it.

What a painless way to boost income! There aren't many things better than dogs anyway! I love dogs! All dogs!

When Shayna was a pupster, she ran in circles at about 500 mph. Incredible, she is darling companion to the other two. My daughter calls both of them little white devils.

Charlie posts to Facebook for Hi Tor Animal Center - everytime a dog is adopted, he writes (through me) "Charlie wags his tail" or variations to that effect. They all know of Charlie at Hi Tor.

Aww, took a little jaunt over there...that Facebook page is FILLED with cuteness!

I can't help but hope that they all find homes. One of their photos is on the theme of "I am your forever dog..."

I totally agree. When I get a pet, I figure, that little companion is here for the duration of his or her life.
