'She Worked Hard For The Money!' and well deserved too. Her voice and spirit was sweet! We will surely miss her ! :(
Tarzan to Jill Hardy: Girl be still. Not sink!!"
From "Valley Of Mystery" : Don't struggle and do not thrash around; that just makes things worse!

Sad to hear. She had such a voice.

Best wishes on her new adventure, and best wishes to her family and friends.

Donna Summer was cast in late 70's and early 80's as a disco queen. She was recording what was selling at the time. She had a superior voice and could have excelled at any genre. Look at the BeeGees. They were great, even before disco and Saturday Night Fever - ( just listen to "I've Gotta Get a Message to You" and you will know how good and how deep this trio was). I think that Donna Summer was equally talented compared to Diana Ross - it was just timing. Sorry to hear of her young death. I saw several intervies with her, and she was not a diva, she was into charity, was religious, and seemed like a decent person. Only the good die young.
