I admire people who can do stuff like that. That is a wild photo.
As for me, I got that one neatly filed under:
"Scenes for which I am absolutely fine with letting the starring role go to somebody else."

Is it just me, or is that the most overused "generic headfirst dive" photo around? I see it everywhere... and everyone always makes jokes about it. I'm not complaining, I'm just noticing.
(pardon me for knowing a little too much about photos like these
)

You are probably right about the overused photo, but it is still a hoot. Yeah, it won't be around here for another 5 years or so.

Re: The High Diving Act
BTW - My second comment, NOTICE I DIDN'T SAY RICHARD was a unique joke from Yosemite Sam who, on the high dive platform encounters a door put up by Bugs Bunny, and yells out OPEN THAT DOOR ... and then adds the Notice. Now, OPEN THE DOOR RICHARD was a big hit record when the cartoon was made. Warner Bros rarely put in contemporary jokes in the cartoons, so this is one instance where they did. Still a good one too.
