Very interesting. Only if a little deeper and if they showed more footage of the woman being really stuck and trying to get pulled out of the corn starch, it would be great.

Corn starch seems like one of the best quicksand analogs out there. I understand there are technical issues involved with the creation/maintenance/disposal of a pit of it, but OMG, whomever gets a classically trained QS actress into one of these (deeper) pits is going to make a killing...

Corn starch hassome interesting properties for a relatively shallow pit but one REAL danger for a deep one. Specifically, it has the property of stongly resisting rapid motion while permitting slow motion. That means that if a person actually did a submergence and then tried to rise back up at all quickly it would tend to lock up. Not good.
Studio 588 currently offers more than 2200 different HD and QD quicksand videos and has supported production of well over 2400 video scenes and other projects by 20 different producers. Info may be found at:

Sure, you'd have to be super cautious to keep the model from getting in trouble (submergence) but a 5 foot deep pit would provide plenty of material for a serious struggle. I've never been a huge submergence fan. I prefer the implied danger of possibly sinking under, but being rescued prior to death or simply being stuck and not dying (not a snuff fan).
