About the only heat I'm getting here is from my heater.
Never the less I am aware that the current US summer is quite sweltering and there is coverage of the Colarado fires.
Bushfire is an almost recurring tragedy here on my own nation-continent, so all the best for the Emergency Services workers hard at it.

It does seem a little like my whole state is burning. Fire to north of me, fire to the south of me. What's astonishing is the path the fires have been able to wreck through suburban subdivisions. While they're on the outlying areas, it isn't like the trees are that dense, it's just that with even the grasses being dried out in the heat and our already arid conditions... and we've had some bad pine beetle killing pine trees by the dozens for years, some mountain areas are mostly brown all the time now, which makes it even more concerning.
