Something else than mud?

Postby Little Sim » Sat Sep 22, 2012 3:09 pm

Hello,

I have recently reviewed an episode of Star Trek The Next Generation where a member of the team is swallowed by a creature like tar (actually printer ink):
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zO0OPEstxKI&feature=related

Seeing this, I wondered if it was possible that producers make scenes in anything other than mud or clay like slime, tar, goo or something else which gives a good impression (the effect of the ink in the scene is quite interesting, I think 8-) ).

I don't know if it's possible for a producer or interested one, but in any case, I made this topic as a poll to see if others would be interested in such scenes. Because I know that if there is no demand, there is no interest to do so ;)

Thanks everyone !

Personally, I've never done in anything other than mud, but the idea came to me already. Now I no longer have a bath, so it seems difficult, but at the time, the main challenge was to have a quantity of substance ...
Wallpaper paste ? It isn't too sticky ?

no it wasntto sticky at all,. it was actually quite nice,.. i braught it in bulk,. and mixed it adding some instant coffe granuallsto make it a darker colour,.. infact it was a lot thickerthan i imagined it would be and i actually had problems getting under in it because i was boyant, it was also harder work to get it to mix without the lumps out of the mix than i imagined,.. but surprisingly it watered down and went striahgt down the drain without a problem

The stuff used for the entity in "Skin Of Evil" was a mixture of "Metamucil" and black printer's ink.

That's good to know :)

Yes, I read that too, but I think that's for the entity costume only, but I'm not sure.
Here, for those who don't know, you can see the creature emerging from... itself ;)

I read that they used a hydraulic lift to move it up and down. But this is Hollywood.

Hi Everyone,

Personally, I do like substances other than just mud/quicksand. I've been toying with the idea of a big vat of marshmallow fluff, with a very slow sink all the way under. I've actually got a half dozen models who want to do this, including Dixie Comet who actually suggested the idea. Who knows - maybe over the winter, when most of my shooting is indoors.

The other aspect of using substances other than mud/quicksand is the coloring - I like seeing colors other than brown and gray next to the models skin/attire, etc.

I might like seeing girls getting swallowed and squeezed by palnt or snake.
Or have a spider trap a women in a cocoon.

Hey, apparently we have a producer (and actresses) interested in the idea, cool :)
What's the opinion of other producers, by the way?

Yes, I totally agree, as well as another aspect or another texture.
In addition, it opens surely possible scenarios, such as on other planets or in a production site of something (marshmallow plant, for example, to use the idea of Mike, if I can)

Personnally, I prefer quicksand sinking but, sometimes, there is something interesting in vore.
There are already videos with it as those that you can find here http://www.clips4sale.com/category/369/VORE
But, for me, drawnings or 3D CGI are better for vore than real-life videos.
That said, this is another conversation, this is off-topic to continue this here ;)
