Zentai Suits and Quicksand

Im surprised that nobody has ever done this but is it possible for anybody to have a model dressed in a Zentai Suit and sink in mud.

I know producers are super-busy and probably wont even consider my idea but Im just throwing it out there.

This was attempted this past summer. The scene will eventually be released but had to be cut short because once the actress attempted what was to be the first of several submergences she could not breathe through the suit and the scene had to be terminated.

for safety, i suggest try to get wet with the hood before (under the shower for example) so you can feel .. don't panic, just breathe with the mouth

I did a shoot in a waterfall with a zentai suit on and had the same problem. Once the material becomes wet and fully absorbs the water no air can get though the material. I'm not sure if there is any way around that issue, maybe someone with more experience with zentai suits could suggest a material that wont do that?

Nose hole that stays open on the bottom always, with a flap of material hanging over...mouth hole too, and use a tiny strip of velcro to close it so it can be ripped open immediately.

Perhaps the entire headpiece could also be in fact separate, and designed so anyone can pull it off completely in a second. You would probably have to take it to a tailor to make it look good and work well.
