Walking Dead Season 4 Winter Finale

Postby Mynock » Mon Dec 02, 2013 6:42 pm

The Governor, it seems, fell victim to one of the classic blunders--the most famous of which is never get involved in a tank war with Daryl Dixon. But only slightly less well known is this: Never go in against Carol's kindergarten class when death is on the line.
Boom. Headshot.

That was a pretty good shot :D

If Daryl had a lightsabre, he would have been mowing them down like Obi-Wan and clonetroopers  Extra points for having that douchebag bail out, look around... and looking right down Daryl's crossbow...lame ass surrender attempt given the appropriate response  I lost my side bet, I thought Maggie was going to buy it; we will miss Herschel though :(

That was a mercy killing for that lady, since at least, thanks to those kids, she won't reanimate into a Walker.

On the contrary, that was a aimed headshot; it certainly ensures she won't re-animate, but she hadn't been hit up until that point. And it's really reinforcing my irony meter , getting pegged at about 11 on scale now; in all the bullshit of the fight, it probably got forgotten by a lot that a) Daryl wasn't taking Ricky's arbitrary decision well, and b) Tyree had found that, whatever the hell it was staked out on a board -- which wasn't done for shits and giggles. I've said from the get go who the rat feeder was, and the murderer, and it aint Carol. Think perhaps maybe someone who is now with Tyree after saving his ass with that shot  Just sayin'.......

My bet is it's one of the kids (probably little miss Annie Oakley) that took her lessons a little too seriously. She took the heat because she felt responsible.
All in all it's been a damn good season so far. I was worried the Governor had gone all soft for a while but a round of golf put him back to rights.

Thats been my bet from the beginning; Chekov's gun -- or Rat -- has been out there since episode 1; and now we have that whatever it was on the wall just before everything went sideways. Writers rule, nothing is done for no reason -- unless you utterly suck at writing. And this show has always had something mean something if its in a scene. I did like the bit where Ricky's getting all worked up about telling Tyree, and what he would have done .... and Daryl just dismissed like brushing off an insect  Just like Carol did. Sweet
