This discussion was covered in March of last year...
viewtopic.php?f=10&t=1337&hilit=electric+company#p10982The gal stuck and sinking in quicksand was indeed Judy Graubart of Jennifer of the Jungle fame on the "The Electric Company;" HOWEVER, she was NOT (unfortunately) playing her Jennifer of the Jungle role during the quicksand scene...
This was one of those "movie director scenes" featuring Rita Moreno as "Otto" the director and Morgan Freeman as her assistant. It was a sort of 19th century quicksand scene where another guy (don't recall the actor's name) was trying to save Judy's character from quicksand. The guy extends his cane for her to reach, but she keeps botching up her likes, so Otto calls, "CUT! You're line is, 'Bring it closer, I can't REACH it!" And, each time Judy's character botches her lines, Otto has Morgan add more quicksand into the quicksand pit with a "quicksand machine," which causes Judy to sink deeper each time.
As I noted on that thread last year, I considered Judy Graubart as the most sinkable of the lady performers on that show, and to at least see a skit with her sinking in quicksand (even though dressed in conservative 19th century women's attire) was pretty darn nice!

Sorry, don't know what series of "The Electric Company" this scene was from.
