The Kriss is another entry into the category of modern, innovative and way too expensive for what it is. Don't get me wrong it's not a bad carbine but who the hell drops $2500 on a .45 ACP (minus the cost of optics). I could buy an entire RACK of Hi-Points for the price of that rifle. and have enough left over for a six pack of their $200 handguns.

Yeah, its one of those "this is really cool, but..." we are not all made of money. Especially since something like a Glock 21 can go around 900 bucks here. The 41 I wonder if it is similar, since its more or less a 21 but slightly longer and 3oz lighter (if that makes sense ) Review on the 41 up in a couple days

The 41 is a competition model. Some minor improvements with a big premium. Buy a standard model, add tritium night sights, done. Glocks are tactical pistols. If you want a fancy target gun they aren't it.
Honestly if you're going to have to blow that much cash I'd go with a 1911, either a Colt or a Springfield Armory. Glocks are great for PDW's but for a range toy I'd take my Springfield any day.

Here's a trivia question which has been bugging me for years...

I like to be able to ID firearms in the movies, and I just can't figure out what the heck is the make and model of the assault rifles the bad guys on skis use in On Her Majesty's Secret Service, the James Bond film of 1969. I think they may be G-3's with extended front sights, but that would be a wild guess.

Anyone out there know?

It looks sort of like a G3 but it's hard to tell.
Did Hickok ever review one of the Hi-Point pistols? I think next time I hit a gun show I'm going to finally pick one up and see how the other half lives. MSRP is actually high, I've seen them for $150.

He sure seems to be trying hard to hate it and while it looks like it shoots ok, it also sure looks like a piece of shit Ah hell, a STEN gun won't win a beauty contest either, but it did the job just fine

Yea, it's ugly, yea, it's heavy as hell, yea, it don't hold many shells.....but it goes bang when you pull the trigger and it comes with a LIFETIME warranty (name one other company that does that) for $180.00.
