That first one reminded me of that arcade game featuring that dragon slayer knight dude (can't recall the name of the game) where you move room to room and try not getting killed along the way.

Amazing the advances in technology over the years.

Its excellent. They took 10 years to release this game for a reason. The graphics are great, although its already 4 years old! The Campaign/Story is even more intriguing and engrossing (and bigger) than ever. But when it comes down to a RTS game, its all about the gameplay. And its still there. If you enjoyed the first one, you will not have any problems getting back into the saddle with this one. They released an expansion (Heart of the Swarm) that I have yet to play, but heard nothing but great things about. (Both from reviews and personal friends). Both SC2 and HOTS are highly recommended for sure.
