What are your fave tales?
I was thinking of posting a few tales here. And I was just wondering what genres are liked the most .I'm allowing 3 votes per user. I think I've covered all genres I can think of. My tales are male oriented but I think all here would like them.

Interestingly, although I consider myself to be a prolific writer, I don't think I've written for any of those genres.

Quality of writing is what counts. In fact, it might be the only thing that counts.
In order to make an apple pie from scratch you first have to create the universe.

Lomax is right. The play's the thing, don't you know?
I'll qualify that with advice I once received.... how is the story without the quicksand in it? If it stands fine on its own, no matter how it goes, then you have something.

I lean towards revenge, esoteric and weird types of tales. I also enjoy writing tales of guys trapped in leather pants.(I know it's very very unusual! ) But thanks for the feedback! I think I'll make some here very happy!

I voted for two of the options... maybe it's part of Drama, but I'd like to see
9. Reporters/spies/witnesses victimized by villains

I actually don't think that's very unusual. I think everyone has some sort of very specific image or fantasy that they like to see play out. I tend to get hung up over a very specific dress or outfit for my characters, and I write up a story that tries too hard to get that specific fantasy in, resulting in a bomb of a story.

Indeed Viridian it kind of goes with my own personal fetish rule.
The BEST fetish scenario for anyone is the one they create for THEMSELVES mentally! They have total control then, and can create for themselves what is perfect for them. A person that does this can do very well in writing it out,or making into a fake etc.
And lets face it that's how most of us began our sexual awakenings. Creating mental images from which to derive sexual drive.

This is a reply to Viridian's point about specific dress: I think this points out an important difference between a written story and a screenplay. Whereas the description of the clothing (or other details) might be overplayed in a written piece, especially if it becomes the focus of the writing, in a screenplay it need not be mentioned at all, yet there it is.

Well if the voting would be a scripting tool= We would have a pornographic revenge flick, with lots of dramatic fighting. Concluded by a long romantic sinking sequence at the end!
