How many of a certain age used to love this commercial about ten seconds in?

It's a dirty job but I got to do it for 27 years. Thank you.

Memories - such sweet memories. Yes, I am old enough to remember when that was on TV (back when there were less than 5 channels!).

Loved watching the woman in the swimsuit go lower and lower...

I think what really makes it is the look on her face as she realizes that Gillette Foamy shaving cream won't support her. (Blub, blub, blub)

And you know they had to do at least a couple of takes.

Ah, yes, an oldie, but a goodie! And, yes, back in the days of rabbit ears and having to get up and change the channels manually.

Yes, the expression on her face really makes this... so does her outfit, her legs, and the way her hair begins to spread out upon the foam as she settles in deeper.

Thanks for sharing, Duncan!

Funny, I was actually reminiscing about that commercial a few days ago!
The difference between theory and reality is that, in theory, there is no difference between theory and reality.

I had to complete this scene when I was a kid. She would hit the water as the rope went slack and try to swim out of all that mess. My pre-adolescent imagination would run wild with the rest. :)
