Very nice indeed!

There needs to be more of Daphne and Velma in quicksand. There was a Scobby Doo movie (don't recall the name) where the gang was helping out Fred as camp counselors, a damn was blown by the bad guys, and an old town was revealed. The gang had to walk around the lake bottom mud of the town and Daphne in her cutoffs and sneakers was in perfect attire for a sink. Alas, it didn't happen and thus another missed opportunity. If fact, there was another Scooby Doo movie where Velma, either wearing a slightly shorter version of her skirt or boasting even nicer legs, almost walked into quicksand, but the guy with her stopped her before she stumbled into it... yet ANOTHER missed opportunity.

Thanks for sharing!

One is Scooby Doo and the Camp Mystery.. The other where they mention quicksand,. and lose a camera is Scooby Doo on Zombie Island. Such a tragic loss.
How unfortunate you didn't have a proper guide to navigate these swamps.

It definitely looks like the art style of one of the batman cartoons. I would bet that is Poison Ivy covered in mud, which would explain the frog "croaking" from a kiss.

Here's a really good scan from the Axa: The Desired comic strip, with our heroine led into beach quicksand. Alas, no signs of the rest of the strip, but this is cool nonetheless. :D

Cool! :D Thanks for those.

Still, I'll also keep searching for even better scans of these strips... just because. :D

I'm pretty sure I have originals of this around somewhere.

It would be nice to do away with the bleed through.

Note to would be scanners out there - line the bottom of the scanner cover with black construction paper. It virtually ends bleed-through problems.
