NFL Week One

Postby kham » Sun Sep 07, 2014 7:43 pm

With associated follies

Dennis Miller just burned off about 6 layers of skin from Dallas....
Ala L'affaire Redskins, American ranch hands are now petitioning Jerry Jones and his team to stop using "Cowboys."
Romo is seeing the field like Lee did at Cemetery Ridge.

Oh, mercy :)

My undefeated Titans (1-0) get Dallas next week in our house. After stomping all over Kansas City everyone's pretty geeked up about it. Should be fun.
It's a dirty job but I got to do it for 27 years. Thank you.

Oh please do; their sobbing and tears will taste like candy

*Note - the poor bastard getting a boot to the face, is, appropriately, the Kicker :D
Son, just because you're the kicker doesn't mean you part of the cheerleading squad. It's FOOTBALL. You have to TACKLE. Being a tackle dummy just makes you a dummy, period

My thoughts exactly. Here we go for another long year.

The video of Ray Rice actually hitting his wife has surfaced and the Ravens terminated his contract.

Meanwhile, at the Saints, we now know that when our esteemed defensive co-ordinator predicted that his protégés were "Ready to get weird," he had in mind the leaking of 448 passing yards. Hmm. Perhaps a little LESS weird for the future, please?

On the positive side - was that a running game? Nah, surely not.

The Redskins also might be getting some suggestions that Saint RG3 aint the savior he cracked up to be. Yeah, one game a season does not make. But lot of hurries and little mistakes add up

Saw the Rice debacle on Twitter, and had to check it wasn't an Onion story at first. He said, he actually said this:

Too bad it's not sweeping prison floors given he pleaded out to a no contest plea that amounted to community service.

And the G-Men got their asses kicked by Detroit tonight (yeah that sounds wrong...) Eli wasn't helped by a lot of concrete hands in his receivers. Entertaining affair at least

Anybody watching Tampa Bay absolutely get their asses handed to them by the Falcons.

58 - 0 last I checked in favor of the Falcons.
