One of the more convincing quicksand scenes I've seen in ages. :)

I've seen this scene before, and the actress featured is Lesley Sharp, who is currently appearing in the UK police drama " Scott & Bailey " I think she plays a maid who commits suicide by stepping into the mud of a river estuary. HTH :D

Lesley Sharp is probably best known in Britain for "afterlife" in which she played a psychologically-troubled medium; she was also in that "Dr. Who" episode in which she was the woman possessed by an unknown alien life-form; I don't remember what it was called but it has the best last line in a Dr Who episode ever; where the Doc (David Tennant) rebukes his companion Donna; "Don't; Just....don't.""
"Aaaaaarrrrrrggggghhhhh! Quicksand! I'm sinking! I'll go straight to the bottom of.......GLURP!"
(a month later)
"Ugh! Yukkkh! Ptui! I'm out of it! I'm free! Not even quicksand can defeat the power of.....the Eye of Zoltec!"

"Midnight"

She was also a suspicious wife in the film comedy The Full Monty.
