I have found, many times, that people who seem angry but whose explanation of their anger makes no sense whatever are not being truthful. But the scary part is the party they are lying to usually turns out to be themselves.

I fail to understand the actual question, or is that, the implied question, or is that assumption, behind the pretense of a question about something that is obvious, this forum is a brilliant salvage job performed on the old Deep Sinking forum by the only producer who had the cajones to step up and invest the effort to keep on keepin' on. This whole pretense of a question just seems like someone who just wants to nibble 'round the edges of what is obvious without offering an alternative to what they clearly take exception to. Want a forum that is not dominated by someone who controls the forum ultimately for business purposes, and who uses resources from that business to fund the effort, create something better yourself, and do it for free, otherwise, what is the purpose is in sowing discontent? Or is that not the actual purpose, to sow discontent? But to what end?

I don't think he meant that they weren't.

He's referring to the leadership aspect of it, and the actual work involved. No biggie.

The question was legit. There are real people throwing this 'producer dominated community' idea around. I've seen actual quotes. I have it thrown at me as well, from Blindrift and others.

This topic was a blatant effort to de-bunk that. Plain and simple.

My apologies to any other producers that were involved, I was never directly privy to that information. I knew most of the other producers supported the creation of Quicksandfans but really didn't pick up on the extent of each one's involvement as, after all, I was not directly involved in the project.

Well, if there was a higher purpose to bringing all this up, I sure missed it...
