That was a shock when I saw his name in the local paper. I thought maybe he was coming to town to do a show, then I read the news.
I have to admit, it made me cry just a little, and I said a pray for him.
One of Joe's last concerts is on Y-tube in full, all 2 hours of it. I think it's the best one available on DVD as far as sound quality goes, and though he was looking quite up there in years, his voice still sounded great.

I was saddened, although not really surprised, when I read a post on another site where a fellow described Cocker as the guy who sang the Wonder Years theme...

Ironic thing is, that is what I told my girlfriend. I'm glad I saw him a few years ago at the Ottawa Bluesfest.

every tuesday night i play Buzztime trivia at a local bar... we had a nice Cocker concert on the jukebox in his honor
