I used to be really in to quicksand, but it has been fading away for some reason, and I want to renew the love I used to have from sinking and such. It was mainly from when I was young and saw The Land Before time series, and other dinosaur related things.
Is there a way to bring my passion back? I find it hard as it feels like this fandom will just disappear at any moment for some reason.
will this fandom dissapear? How to renew my interest?

Sometimes the best way to reinvigorate an interest is to let it go for a while.

Same here. But mostly due to health concerns. I consider myself a sinker aesthete. With his own bizarre take on this thing.

One way to help renew your love for sinking is to start searching for out-of-public-view locations with deep mud/quicksand and get back into it, once the weather gets warm this spring/summer. The experience and feel of the ground sucking you in, its movements, and the feel of it on your skin should give your interests a strong recharge!
Then, when you see any picture/video featuring sinking, you will be able to imagine how that stuff feels, making the impact of what you are viewing that much more powerful!
I sink, therefore I WAM!!!!

I meant my flagging interest was due to several health issues. And I should specify about me being an aesthete. Basically it means I enjoy creating settings around which a sinking scene can be incorporated. In my case writing. I enjoy a gothic and dark setting.

Heh. I haven't stepped a foot into mud in nearly 5 years. What brought me to this fetish page was not the desire to see women in mud. (I actually enjoy the right woman out of clothes more than I do in mud) What brought me here was wanting to know where to find local mud. Now, I'm thinking that helping Fred get his pits broken back up this spring may be enough of an excuse to get muddy again. (It also takes a lot of work, which will be good exercise)
For me, it was a combination of needing more focus on my career and the emotional turmoil of having my father die that changed things. Me helping Fred for a week was the last thing my father disapproved of while he was alive, so far as I know, aside from the cancer meds not working and making his life hell. I'm starting to get over that now. (and I still enjoy seeing women naked more than seeing them sink) I still have the fantasy of having to follow a "always right" woman through knee deep sticky mud, with her having worn a short skirt such that anytime she leans forward she's showing me her ass, but she's too independent to ask for any help, so I am required to follow her closely but not help... I'd like to see that as a film, with the woman eventually stuck and demanding to be removed from the deep mud. I'd even volunteer to be the much put-upon actor required to follow her!
You can't pin your emotions on anything. No fantasy, no music, and certainly not someone else (even a spouse). Being happy is a decision. You decide what your emotions are. You decide you are/aren't interested in something. As you grow, things can change. That's normal and that's human. If you don't see this as something you are interested in, find something else, either to replace this entirely or to add to this.

Try lucid dreaming. Think hard about WHO or WHAT you want in your scene. And you might have a vivid dream about it. Works for me.

Re: will this fandom dissapear? How to renew my interest?
Noticed the same thing myself over the last year or so. I blame all the meds I'm on.
Back in December, my "regular Doctor" prescribed a new med, to counteract the drowsiness from the other meds. Sonofagun, it actually works as predicted, with zero side effects except a decreased appetite and slow, safe weight loss. (That's the drug's primary use- the energy boost is a beneficial side effect.) I feel SO much better than I have in years. Now I feel like I really need a sink and of course we're in the middle of the hardest winter in years.
Oh well, I guess I can dream. Maybe this summer, I'll make it to a really good mud pit.
