I doubt it Nacht, besides, this thing is about as subtle as a flamethrower
Better to just keep blasting until the screaming stops and any bad guys reduced to chunky salsa

Weapon lights are for momentary illumination only. You aim, trigger the light, which gives you positive ID and blinds the shit out of your target, then you shoot. The tail cap button is pressure activated so when you let go rack the slide it goes out. Surefire 6PX Tactical. Think it's like 300ish Lumens. Don't shine it in your face or you'll still be seeing spots the next day.

Cheesy China Grip is gone. Added magpul RVG and some rail covers to make the slide more friendly on the hands. Think it's officially done.

Mynock, you forgot a critical step in the process. Aim, ID target, shoot- and MOVE!
I would probably need a red gel filter for a tactical light, since just the backwash off these newfangled LED flashlights tends to screw up my night vision. Another option I've considered is a night vision sight with an IR illuminator. Less than $400. Could be combined with an IR laser as a laser sight. For a big guy, I can move surprisingly quietly when I need to. That combo would be excellent for "sneaking and peeking"- the prerequisite to "shooting and looting."

Home defense is what I'm going for here so KISS is critical. Thought about the red filter but the problem is if you're protecting your own night vision you're also protecting the other guys....which isn't good since the light just gave away your position. Have been thinking of trying the IR flashlight/scop combo out on a rifle though.
