Re: Cruise Liner Accident Trial Conclusion
It was "cool" . The passengers loved it. Who wouldn't think skimming the shore at speed while sipping your martini and admiring the sunset? Only thing is, the laws of physics are not spinnable. They dont give a fuck about cool. Any competent mariner would have never even tried it. If I'd come on watch in the midst of this abortion, the first thing out of my mouth would have been ' what the FUCK is going on??!! ' That is day ONE of BRM. You dont give a shit who is who, you see something insane, you speak the fuck up. If not? See flying while East Asian. Consequences? Have some. This was Nagumo-level fuckup-itude and equal attempt to blame everyone else for things. The Coast Guard probably has the best ethos on this sort of thing. You have to go out. You don't have to come back.
