This one wins an award not only for plausibility but for originality. Who the hell would think to make up a fake news story about this?

I can't believe I never thought of this before. Get ahold of some antique bomb casings (or manufacture them) and some radioactive junk to put inside them. You could sell that same "Broken Arrow" nuke to a number of terrorists, megalomaniacs, and international criminals before they caught on. Yeah, you'd have to change your name, appearance, and identity, and live the rest of your life looking over your shoulder- but you'd still be filthy rich.

Yeah. After that, most of their best people were poached by Microsoft and TimeWarner. I hear some outfit called Virtucon Corporation (parent of Starbucks and the Hollywood Talent Agency) bought most of their physical assets when they went into Chapter 13. SPECTRE kept their name and intellectual property, although they're pretty much a paper corporation at this point.

And yes, I was cuddling our cat the other day, and when I heard my wife coming I turned my computer chair around. When she came in, I turned the chair toward her and said the line.
