A reminder

Postby Fred588 » Sat Mar 07, 2015 4:18 pm

This is just a reminder that for most of us daylight savings time goes into effect early tomorrow morning. Although computer systems generally make the changer automatically, the last I checked this was NOT the case for the forum software.I know of one or two cases where members had difficulty logging in, or staying logged in starting the same day as the clock change.

The setting is in your user control panel.
Studio 588 currently offers more than 2200 different HD and QD quicksand videos and has supported production of well over 2400 video scenes and other projects by 20 different producers. Info may be found at:

There's a story about a Native American learning about Daylight Savings Time. His reply: "Only the white man could cut a foot off the bottom of a blanket, sew it on the top, and claim the blanket is longer."

But seriously, while totally artificial- would work just as well changing our work start times- it does do the job of getting us slugs out of bed closer to dawn, so we have more daylight on the back end.

During WWII, since London is as far north as Moscow, during High Summer Britain went on Double-Daylight time- moved the clocks ahead two hours.

I will admit that I actually forgot to turn my clocks one hour ahead but the good news was that I woke up during the early morning hours and I thought about it from there.
