More on the Shooting in Garland on Sunday

Postby kham » Wed May 06, 2015 3:43 pm

The media these days does not report success, so it's not a huge surprise the Garland, Texas terrorist fail has dropped off the radar. The story I heard was just, the 2 wannabees showed up, opened fire wounding someone, and were killed by the police. Mention was made that a SWAT team was nearby the event. So the impression I had was that they were mowed down.

About that...

Yeah, thats all true. But thats not exactly what happened. The perps showed up, and opened fire, wounding an UNARMED security guard. The solo policeman there at the time, a 30-year veteran of the Garland PD, drew his sidearm and opened fire, killing one of the shooters, and wounding the other. He continued to advance , firing twice more to kill the remaining shooter as he was reaching for a backpack. The SWAT guys didnt show up until it was all over.

Little different narrative there, eh? More like this guy is a candidate for BAMF of the week.
Some stuff and Crime Scene photos are available here but you can see the evidence marker tags showing his path from ejected shell casings. He was using a Glock in .45ACP, likely a 21.

It's a dirty job but I got to do it for 27 years. Thank you.

It's easy to see, why they would choke on the commentary for this. They would be gagging

For them to admit , that a TEXAS LAWMAN, not only stood his ground, but ADVANCED single-handedly to kill these scumbags would be too much for their tiny prog minds to handle without stroking out

The only way this guy could have been more badass, is if he had used an old Colt SAA in .45.....

I guess this is another example of why it is unwise to mess with Texas, huh? ;)

Yep kudos to the lawman that prevented alot more deaths!

But there is a way to prevent radicalism. It's very unpopular and those who talk about it usually get skewered and crucified in the forums.

Let's just say if our leaders learned to think ahead. Way WAY ahead a lot of this shit would be prevented.

The best way to prevent shit like this from happening is vigilance. Practice situation awareness and trust the alarm in your head. See somthing, hear something, or even just have a bad feeling? Don't be afraid to call 911 and say "I'm at this place and there's this weird guy/car/group of guys/etc. I think you better send a cop to check it out."
Also I would point out that the cop who killed these two scumbags was actually off duty and carrying his own personal weapon. He acted in the capacity of an armed civilian, not a police officer. Score one for concealed carry permits.
