Some new -and old -stuff from the compound

Cowboy Action Guns A little peek at the guns used and the outline for how playing in the Cowboy Action Shoot contests works

When I bought my Springfield 1911 the Scorpion was next to it in the case. If I'd had another $500 it would've gone home with me instead of the Springfield.

What'd you make of that trigger design? Looks way different, but the big fella seems to like it. The look of it sure is sweet too

Trigger was one of the things that made me like it. Felt way lighter than 5lbs. Really was the overall fit and finish that drew me to it. Felt like it was broken in already. I think they're hand assembled and fitted at the factory so that makes the difference (and shoots the price through the roof haha).

Its a SiG, so you gotta figure the quality is top drawer. But, they sure do underline You Get what You Pay For :D

I'm probably going to grab a cheap press and some dies this summer and start reloading my own shells for the BFR. He's not joking when he says $8 a shot, ammo just keeps getting scarcer and more pricey for ye olde hand cannon.
