I think it was the odd lighting. Note the bright glare on the actors at times, as if lights too bright or improperly placed were used to film the scene.

Hi. Got 2 new ones for you today.
First is from the series Terracotta Warrior episode 42
A Woman is forced into some desert quicksand by explosions.
Another Woman tries to save her but is pulled in to.

that scene looks really weird! is it jus me or is some of it outside & some of it inside cos it looks like theyre not really there kinda hard to explain but it jus looks like some kinda green screen effects?

I think you are right. The characters seemed seperated from the background.

It was green screen. You can tell when everyone else jumps in the sand, they just vanish without disturbing the sand.

Another new one from Razia Sultan - Episode 48. Woman loses control
of a horse and she and a guy roll into quicksand. He pulls himself out
right away and teases her a while before helping her out. Very Very
watery scene but I still think it is a fun one.
