Peak Retardation has Been Achieved

Postby kham » Tue Jun 30, 2015 12:12 pm

In my view, there is no more hope in even pretending civilization is salvageable.

weep

The old-fashioned method of rectifying, would be to seek out the author of this retch-fest and kill him in the most public, brutal, screaming fashion you could come up with on short notice, pour encourage les autres , as it were. Absent that, shaking your head and walking away. Far away, and watching the coming collapse seems the only option.

He-3 is a naturally occurring HARMLESS radioactive isotope of normal Helium. It has been decaying from the earth's crust for billions of years. There is no amount of pressure here on earth that could make it do anything. The local star would be required. It exists in slightly higher quantity on the lunar surface from billions of years of exposure to the solar wind. It serves no purpose. It is a THEORETICAL fuel source for THEORETICAL fusion reactors which do not exist. Only a blithering utter retard who should be forcibly lobotomized could categorize it as any sort of threat.

Welcome to the end

This is the most epic science fail I have ever seen. Seriously, this even beats out the guy who told me electricty from nuclear power gives you cancer. "Explosive Helium". Really? REALLY. Come the fuck on.......really?

Sure this isn't one of those fake stories some joker planted? If not, weep indeed... if so, it is still pretty darned annoying.

They found extremely dangerous explosive helium.

Was this posted from The Onion before there? No?

The facepalm is strong in these guys. Oh Sweet Meteor of Death, please come at us now.
How unfortunate you didn't have a proper guide to navigate these swamps.

Daily Mail
And you have commenters gurgling about how its useful in fusion reactors...

WE DONT HAVE ANY FUSION REACTORS YOU FUCKING BLITHERING HALFWITS!!!

No, we are done

Ace commented something the other day Re the bullshit over the Confederate Flag, yet somehow NAZI fucking shit is still cool, that we could play jiggery-poker with dates , and claim the Nazis invaded in 1861. And probably HALF the fucking morons out there that somehow pass as human would fucking BELIEVE that.

SMOD indeed, get the next fucking extinction rolling.....

I don't see anything in the article (other than in some dumb comments) where it suggests that He-3 is explosive. :? The only thing I see in the article is how the gas, which was created in the "Big Bang" (creation of the universe) and is found in the mantle, was detected leaking through the Newport-Inglewood Fault, which implies that the fault runs much deeper than expected. The fault had to directly or indirectly connect to the mantle for the gas to escape. The deeper fault could mean that the threat of "The Big One" has increased from about 4.7% to 7.0% in the next 30 years, while risks of smaller quakes has gone down. The gas is just an indicator of the extent of the depth of the fault, nothing more.
I sink, therefore I WAM!!!!

^^Article has been revised since Kham posted it. Original headline talked about "flammable helium" and insinuated that it would somehow cause a fusion reaction in the mantle and blow California into space. Also they're using screen grabs from San Andreas, which was a scientific travesty of a disaster movie

I hate to break it to you, Kham, but every time you say that the nadir of human intelligence has been reached, someone will inevitably dig a little deeper.

Memory hole is a wonderful fucking thing, eh BM? Change a line here, a word there.....
Not to mention use images from a fucking MOVIE to highlight your article, when most if not all of the shit depicted there is not even close to how earthquakes work. S'all good in the furtherance of the narrative , n'cest pas?

No no no
Do not grant them even the SLIGHTEST degree of legitimacy, or slack, these fuckwits lie on a good day for ink. Imbecility and retardation is a primary reason the planet is such a fucked-up mess right now

Like Doc Feynman said, reality cannot be spun

I hate to say it, but I think the general population has always been this stupid. The difference is now we have the internet and they can broadcast their stupidity to any corner of the globe they wish. We're not necessarily getting dumber, we're just getting more capable of letting people know we're dumb. :D
