Trinity Explosion complete takes

70 Years ago this morning, in New Mexico, the first ever atomic explosion in history occurred. The 20th Century was forever changed along with the shape of history for half a century.


History does have a sense of humor

From Fat Man and Little Boy; one of the few modern films made about the Manhattan Project. Almost an A-lister with Newman as General Groves, and yes, that is indeed Dwight Schultz whom trekkies know as Reg Barclay :) playing Robert Oppenheimer

This was in 1989 too, before he got into any science fiction roles; he did a good job here and was dead-on serious
